All my life I’ve been scared
I been scared of losing you
I would wake up early every morning
To check if you were there too
I would miss you in the dark
I would love you during the day
You are always by my side
We jump and run and play
I don’t care what anyone thinks
Because when no one else is around
You are my best friend
My shadow on the ground
