Claire Destroismaison is currently a student at Middlesex Community College, majoring in Psychology. She will graduate in the Spring of 2016 and will continue her education at Salem State to reach her ultimate goal of earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She plans to work with children and families living in poverty, helping them with their mental health, their children’s development, and successfully face their life struggles. She has always enjoyed writing and will continue to do so. She wrote the story “I am Violet Monroe,” for her English Composition 2 class. She found inspiration in Edgar Allen Poe while writing it.
