You and Me

We danced in the rain
As it washed away our innocence

We kissed each other
As if we would die tomorrow

We embraced tightly
As we molded into one another

We laughed at ourselves in mirrors
As our fractured selves smiled back

We yelled at each other
As our words turned into stabs

We drowned in our own fears
As the monsters haunted our dreams

We cried for our lost memories
As our minds swallowed our thoughts

We killed each other
As your blood ran down my knife
